Merry Christmas Everyone. Just a short post on this wonderful holiday. I have a white Christmas here. Haven’t had one of these in a long long time. As we all know, cookies are everywhere right now. They are sitting on the counter, in the oven,on the kitchen table, next to the lazy boy chair, in our hands, and in our mouths.
I recommend that everyone buys a cookie jar like this one. No secret cookie munching with this little guy in the house. My family does a $10 gift exchange every Christmas. This cookie jar has been re-gifted every year for 5 years now I think. Nobody likes it but at the same time everyone loves it. It is becoming a tradition. This year, the recipient actually hid the guy in my shower before they left.
The coolest part about this little guy is what he says. This is also the reason why I recommend him for all who want to leave the cookies alone this holiday season. I think we got him at wal-mart. The police office gives specific instructions when he is opened up.
STOP!! STEP AWAY FROM THE COOKIE JAR!!
And then we all laugh for the thousandth time. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Lol it’s so true, I had one of those but it suddenly just disappeared O.o. Hey I have this post for those interested in a balanced Christmas diet its simple to stick to and the benefits are great: http://thisteensweightlossplan.wordpress.com
Merry christmas. What I did was binge last night and christmas eve (Manila is ahead by a day and we celebrate christmas for several days) and run early this morning to burn it. hahaha
Oh, great cookie jar! I think I need one of those. I have 2 type 1 diabetic children. I could put all the treats in there so then they couldn’t cheat without me knowing. Besides then I could stop being the “food police” and have someone else take over the job for a while.
That’s pretty funny. I am glad you love your kids so much. That is awesome. The world needs great moms like you. Thanks for the comment. I at a few cookies today, so I think I will have to keep the cookie jar. 🙂
This is so funny! We are a very close family, 4 sisters, 2 brothers, husbands, wives, and children..we have been regifting the Cop Cookie jar at our annual Christmas grab for about 6 years now! Lately it has become even funnier though. Last year we left it in one of my sisters closets after we got it. Then in the middle of the year we all got a post card with the cookie jar on it saying it was “kidnapped”. When the jar was opened it came with pictures of its adventures for the year..with lots of different people. This year it came with a calendar of its picture inserted into all different scenerios…Tom Brady holding it up, riding a snow mobile, drinking beer on Saint Patty’s Day, in the crowd at a Bruins game etc. It was so funny! Now I have it again and have to come up with something really funny for next year….any ideas? BTW your weight loss story is inspirational. You seem like a great couple. All the best!
I can’t believe that someone else’s family does the same thing with the same cookie jar. That is so funny. I am glad you commented. We have it now, so I think that maybe we are going to start a new tradition like you and doing something special with it. Thank you very much for stopping by and I appreciate the comments.
Help…I am still trying to think of something funny to do with our Cookie Cop for this years Christmas grab!
I am thinking of what to do myself. I want to do something cool but I am not creative in that way
Well, Christmas has come and gone. I took a photo of the Cop Cookie Jar, downloaded it to iphoto and made a card with a poem inside.
Surprise, Surprise you now own me,
Look at my handsome face and love me only.
The years have passed in such a flash and I’ve been invited to every bash.
Just when you think I’m gone for good
I pop out of no where as I should.
My antics have been more than fun, but sometimes I think I should be done.
Then who would laugh at my silly face and who would cry when I go to their place?
Its your turn now to make me happy, so give me some cookies and make it snappy!
Merry Christmas!!!
My sister Sue opened the gift bag (not big enough to hold the cookie jar) and then I handed the real thing over to her..her son who is very creative actually took him off of her hands and no doubt will come up with something really funny for next year!
Happy New Year! Also, any advise for getting my very handsome 24 year old son to lose some weight? He was always slim until college, then packed it on, he is about 40 lbs over weight now. He goes to the gym 2 or 3 times per week, but is pretty inactive for the most part and loves to eat out. Not junk food, good food! He has a really lovely girl friend now and I’m afraid she may decide she does not want to be with someone over weight. I am also concerned about his long term health. BTW I paid for a nutritionist last year and I pay the monthly gym fee for him…I am really trying.
Jeanne, that is just awesome what you did with the cookie jar. We actually had it this year and put a nice gift inside of it. It turned out that nobody wanted it so we took the poor little guy back for another year. 🙂
It is hard to tell someone to lose weight or help them get motivated to do so. It is so personal and I know that many people tried to tell me to lose weight, offered me money, gifts, praise, etc. But it just came down to me hitting my bottom and doing it for myself.
