Mad but Glad: PIZZA TEMPTATION

pizza-001

LOOKS GOOD DOESN’T IT!?  No, I didn’t eat the first half.  Actually, the company (my job) bought it for us to eat.  It happens just about every week.  I was having a very fragile moment (I wanted to eat the first half) so I picked up the camera and took a picture instead of a piece.  I figured if I blogged about it I wouldn’t fall into the temptation.  I am mad though.  I want to be able to eat whatever the heck I want, but I know it is not best.  I don’t have the points to even have one piece.  Even if I did, I would still try not to since the way it has been lately I don’t think I’d stop at one piece:)  Anyways, I won this little battle so far.

Great job not giving into the temptation! I love the fact that you took a picture instead, hahaha! I don’t like it that we can’t eat what ever we want either. Sometimes I really resent it. That’s the attitude I hope one day to overcome. Great post.

I know exactly how you feel!! I get angry too that I can’t eat whatever I want. But I enjoy losing weight more than the few minutes of enjoying one piece of pizza. And pizza is a hard one for me to resist. Especially since my son works at a Pizza place and we get a 50% discount. That makes it ever harder!!!! Thanks for having this blog and sharing about such a personal thing. Especially posting the pictures. You’re much braver than I!!! 🙂

@run4change great job man. I had some pizza on Christmas Eve, but it was plain cheese pizza. Not the best choice, but not worst either. Great idea to take a picture and blog about it rather than eat it. Keep up the good work.

Jason….I am so sorry I bought that pizza!! I am the culprit who buys lunch every friday. Usually the girls in the office buy individual meals (Subway, Quiznos, Burgerville etc), but everyone once in a while I get pizza. I remember even calling you and offering you a piece. That is so mean!! I am one of those people who are naturally thin, and I don’t crave food. I eat to live, not live to eat! It is genetic, I am not taking any credit at all for this. I wish my husband had as much will power as you. I love him just as he is, but I worry every day about his stress level and his weight. I plan to live into my 90’s or even low 100’s, and I want him with me. I know you have been a good role model for him, he is just not ready to make a commitment yet. Keep up the good work!!! You look great. I can’t guarantee I won’t buy another pizza sometime, but next time I will be sensitive to your situation and maybe hide it!!!

You may hide it, but I am one good finder 🙂 I love the pizza. You go ahead and order what you want. I need to learn to deal with stuff. Food is my problem not yours.
