I have lived an interesting life.  At this point in my life, I am so happy to have a relationship with Jesus.  He changed my life completely and has always helped me and forgiven me.  It is a great comfort to know that there is absolute truth and that not everything is wishy washy grey area, clouded over by theories and indifference.  If you would like to experience new life, go to heaven, and have a life that is not perfect yet full of true joy; Jesus loves you and is waiting for you to come to Him.  Just pray this prayer with an honest and humble heart.  After the prayer check out the links below for more information.

“God, I recognize that I have not lived my life for You up until now. I have been living for myself and that is wrong. I need You in my life; I want You in my life. I acknowledge the completed work of Your Son Jesus Christ in giving His life for me on the cross at Calvary, and I long to receive the forgiveness you have made freely available to me through this sacrifice. Come into my life now, Lord. Take up residence in my heart and be my king, my Lord, and my Savior. From this day forward, I will no longer be controlled by sin, or the desire to please myself, but I will follow You all the days of my life. Those days are in Your hands. I ask this in Jesus’ precious and holy name. Amen.”

Thanks for posting this on your page. Too many people don’t give the glory to God Almighty.

Thanks for your boldness to comment on this page. It is wonderful that many people check this page out when they come to the blog, but nobody usually comments on it. Thanks

It is so awesome to know you have this close relationship with God. I am actually in what some call the dry season (I have a prior post about this on my blog)and I desperately want to get back to that closeness. It’s a good thing you are doing by including this page on your site.

Love it that you have this link on your blog. When I clicked on the ‘new life’ link, I was skeptical–‘does he really know what ‘new life’ is? Well, yes you do! Your weight loss and running story are also really inspirational. I am finding it interesting that no matter how quickly or slowly that people lose the weight, there still seems to be a definite longer period of time where they have to do the difficult ‘mind work.’ I am still in that process, but am becoming more comfortable and confident that this is a change that I will stick with for life.

Thanks for the encouragement. I do know what new life is. Praise God for that. As you know, if it wasn’t for the blood of Jesus and His mercy and Grace I’d be dead now. Thanks again

I guess I saved the best for last, Jason. After all, while weight loss and running marathons are great–true, lasting change is only possible through the one who gave us His all. God bless you and Audrey.

Jesus is my Lord and I would have died in the backyard of a party years ago had Jesus not been real and alive. Thanks for you inspiration. YOu are so right.

    Hey Jason.
When I first discovered your blog, I read this page. On October 29, 2008 I wrote the post “Questioning – What Do I Believe In?” and I’m still questioning it. I just wanted to say Thank You for sharing this, and for the links that might help answer some of my questions as I continue to explore what exactly it is I do believe in.

I would be interested in reading your story if you would not mind sharing.

Thank you so much for posting this and just for having your blog! It is so inspiring to see a man willing to be open about weight issues AND Christ.

I work for Weight Watchers, and it’s also really refreshing to see a man totally changed through all of this – we don’t see very many men in the meetings, period 🙂

Would you mind if I added you to my blogroll?

Hi there Brandi. Thanks for the encouragement. I love to get encouragement about my WW loses, but to have that special person drop a note about Jesus is just icing on the cake. THanks a lot.

    Hey Jason,

Could you please sent me your testimony? I would love to read the whole story. THanks for putting this on here and thank you for reminding me recently that Christ is with me and would see me through my situation. I appreciate it and you so much. And guess what? He has been with me and has seen me through it. Take care, Melissa.

You know…when I left you a comment yesterday, I hadn’t read this page about ‘New Life’. And now after reading this page…well, I’m just flat excited because it was one of those times where you recognize a person by their spirit without them ever having to say ‘this is what I believe’.

I know your testimony must be personal but if you get the itch, could you share it with me too, please?

Jason I am boled over by how God has used you to give HOPE to so many hungering to be released from overweight. Thank you so much for letting your readers know that you have done all through Christ and you give Him the glory. I accept your challenge to give my all through the Holy Spirits power and when victory comes I also give God the glory for what He has done for me…Sometimes I am sooo excited about the literal favor I am afforded in the power of Christ and it is looked on as pushy on my part when I blurt it out instead of using the same energy to administer to others…You administer to all needs elquently and then on a seperate site let anyone interested sweetly know how much you rely on God for all you do…Wonderful example of making Jesus love all inclusive…God Bless You for your ministry of excellence through Christ, Praise His Holy name for what he has done for you, Jason and through you to help people needy like me! Barbara

I don’t know what to say Barbara. I have been momentarily zapped by God with that comment. Thank you for the hope that your brought my way on this day. It is all possible through Christ who strengthens us. I will send you an email I think. HAve a good day.

This page makes me so happy to read. I love the way that you are open about your faith and share it so readily. All of your accomplishments are amazing but giving God the glory for them is the most amazing of all. Congrats and Abundant blessings!

Thanks man, it’s around 3:30 in the morning and couldn’t sleep, having the roughest time in my life right now, and your faith brings me hope. I know that no one has posted in a while and you might not even check this site anymore, but in the days that we’re living in it’s just so good to see someone who is a believer, and not ashamed of the Gospel. It’s so difficult to not “grow weary in well doing”, and I know that God is calling me “higher” so to speak, and I am just finding the road to be a bit of a steep trek. Be Blessed.
