Jason,
Thanks for the inspiriation. I am going to link you to my website. I dont have too much weight to lose… but I know it is going to be a struggle. I had a baby in July and I then got cardiomyopathy and I am unable to be as active as I once was. I hope you do keep checking up on me. My goal is to lose about 20 lbs and be able to get back into my clothing I wore in 2005 before I got married. You look FANTASTIC! Keep up the good work Jason.
Toni Conrad
Wow, you look amazing! You’ve inspired me! Already add you to my blogroll. I want to feature you on success story on my blog post. Is that ok?
Yes that would be great. The more people that can get inspired the better.
Wow this is very inspiring. When I feel like giving up, I’ll just read over your blog again.
I’m honored that you were inspired. Come back anytime. I post something everyday pretty much
Wow, you look fantastic. These are the pictures that keep me going and the imagination of what I will look like in 55 more pounds. Thanks for sharing your incredible journey.
I love your comments man. Keep up the good work, you’re doing great. Never give up! It is gonna feel great after those 55. Thanks for coming by.
ei, good job on the weight loss huh. truly inspiring. I have been on a similar situation too in the past. now i am also into running and have happily been keeping an acceptable weight. but i guess everything is still a work in progress. keep on doing what you do because you are an inspiration to many out there. btw, i really would want to link your blog to mine. i hope you dont mind. 😉
I would love it if you linked to me from your blog. Go right ahead. Thanks so much for visiting and commenting. It means a lot.
How inspiring! I am on my own WW journey. To date I lost 85 pounds in just under a year and have about 15 to get to goal. It is so nice to see others that have accomplished so much with WW as well. Keep up the life changing journey! It makes me proud for you.
Thank you so much and I am proud of you too. Losing 85 lbs, WOW!. Great job.
Great pics, Jason! What a transformation you have made. I bet Audrey is super proud of you and happy to have a healthy, good looking man! :oP
It is great. My wife is so good though, she loved me then and she loves me now. She told me I was good looking then too, but now she does admit that I am better looking than when I was big. It is not offensive though since I also see that as being pretty obvious. At least I feel better about how I look now.
Amazing photos!
Thanks for your comments on my blog, they were really helpful. 🙂 I am goign to try to eat earlier and let my food digest to see if that helps.

Jason your loss is phenomenal! You inspire me. I am committed to walking at lunch everyday. I have found a different walking partner for each day but will go alone if they cant go. Neat to read about your journey and your sweet words about Audrey too. Tami shared your blog with me and I shared your blog w/ a few others today. You have quite the following.
Dawneva
Your story is amazing and inspirational!
The competition with your dog is making me laugh! I have a dog that binges and sometimes I wonder if that is what
I used to look like bingeing from his perspective! Ha!
I have always wanted to run (as an adult) and it is one of my goals. The pictures of you running show your new found freedom and joy!
Thank you for the encouragement. It is always welcome when one is on a weight loss/maintenance journey. Thanks for your help and kind words.
Impressive pics, man. Outstanding work. I’m always so encouraged when I see some not only decide to take steps in the right direction, but have the determination and maturity to stick with it until the end. Great job. Keep it up!
Thanks a lot man.
Hi,
I came here after reading that you are a big inspiration from http://allabouthabits.com/.
Although I don’t have a weight issue, I find great inspiration from those like Healthygirl.
Just reading this first page and seeing your accomplishments has already inspired me-WOW, GREAT JOB!
I wish you much continued success and I think you’ll be seeing me around a little 🙂
Happy new year!

Hope you don’t mind either that I added you to my favorites. That way I can keeping checking back for continued motivation. It must feel great inspiring others. Just signed up a few minutes ago to run my first triathlon in April 2009. The fun never stops!
Boy, you and LTer4ever came just at the right time. I was feeling like crap and thinking really negatively. Thank you so much for your comment. I am honored that you put me in your favorites and I will do my best to have new posts daily. That’s my goal anyway. Thanks again.
Hope you don’t mind if I add you to my blogroll — this site is truly inspiring.

Hey no problem at all. Great job and keep up your hard work.
You look great! What an accomplishment, losing all of your weight and getting healthy. Great job. I’m sure you’ll inspire many people.
I sure hope to inspire people. That is what the blog is here for. I have found that it inspires me too with comments coming in like yours. Thanks and keep up the good work.
WOW!
WOW!!
WOW!!!!
This is unbelievable!!!
Unlike alot of people who visit your site….I have only around 30 pounds to lose yet it has been a battle for me for years…..I lose it and gain it….lose it and gain it….etc…etc…etc…….
This is powerful….you look amazing!!!!
How have you manged to stay trim and fit…..is it still a struggle??
Once again….you look WOW!!!!
Yes it is still a struggle. I am pretty good at just following a plan. That part is not the biggest struggle for me. THe biggest struggle for me is just the simple thing in my mind that I love food. I love to over eat. I like junk food. I stick with it becuase I am worth it, you are worth it, we are all worth. ANd it does not matter how many lbs you want or need to lose. The battle is the same. A pound is a pound. Keep coming around and the readers will encourage the heck out of you and we can all walk this walk together. Thanks for stopping by.
Hey,
I found your blog through a comment you left on another blog. Your blog and the info/links you put up are greatQ You look great too! Congrats on your accomplishments. I am a beginner runner. I’m about 20 lbs overweight. I love running and hope to “run for change” as well and become a healthy person again. I plan to read your sight often.
Thanks for the inspiration,
Kelli
Hey Kelli,
Thanks a lot for stopping by. It is so much fun to see people get excited about running and being healthy. I love running and I need for my own sanity. Thank you for your encouraging words. It would be fun if you voted on my “believe it or not post” Check it out here: https://run4change.wordpress.com/2009/01/10/believe-it-or-not-will-run4change-resist-the-pie-in-the-sky/
Thank you so much for the encouraging comments that you have left on our blog. We are grateful for your support and for keeping tabs on us. Your website is very inspirational. I look forward to spending time reading about your journey. 🙂

You are so welcome. Thanks for coming by and leaving such encouragement with your comments.
All I can say is “DAMN your HOT!” lol…
You definately show that with dedication and commitment what can be achieved. I am so impressed and I know it was not easy, but SOOOO worth it!!
Keep it up Hottie!!! 😉
Warning! Extremely Important Reality Statement Ahead!!!!!!!! Ok, we all walk, run, exercise, eat healthy, control portions, make good food choices, and stick to our program solely for health purposes that our DR. told us we needed to take care. We don’t care about anything else.
🙂 NOT. WE WANT TO LOOK “HOT” AND FIT INTO THOSE DANG CLOTHES THAT MAKE US LOOK GREAT. SKINNY JEANS YOU LADIES CALL IT. Lets face it. We do honorable things for our health and bodies by changing our lives. But we all wouldn’t mind be called “HOT”.:)
Thank you very much Colette, a very encouraging compliment. Much appreciated. Thanks for the comment. 🙂
Whoa!!! That is incredible. I have to agree with the person who said you were HOT!. How long did it take you to lose all the weight?
I too am gonna add you to my blogroll as one of the “other inspirations”. I am hoping that my story will also encourage and inspire as I work to lose my weight!
Thank you so much Kim. that makes me feel very good. It is pretty amazing what losing 130 lbs can do eh? Thanks for stopping by and contributing such a wonderful comment. You add to the positive and fun atmosphere here.
wow, you look amazing! i’m on my way to losing weight now this year and hopefully i can stick to it! congratulations!
Steph, YOU CAN STICK WITH IT! Try not to doubt yourself to much. I know that it is normal to do especially at the starting line, but you will make it. Just one step at a time. Keep on keeping on. Keep coming back to the blog. The readers are very encouraging. This place will inspire you to stick with it and reach you goals. Good luck and thanks for commenting and visiting.
WOW WOW WOW WOW! You look great! This is tigerpaw615 from WW posted on your Biggest Loser message. You really do look wonderful!
Hey Tigerpaw,
Thanks a lot for stopping by. I love it when my WW friends come by the blog. It is so encouraging. Thank you for the comment.
Wow what a difference.. thanks for the pics very inspiring for those of us who are just starting the program..
Thanks Spunkee. You keep up the good work. You will be at goal in no time. Just never give up and keeping sticking to the program
Looks like you got it down pat! Do you have any particular hints for a guy that doesn’t run very well, and has a super busy schedule between college, work, wife, kids, and Military Reserve work?
Do you mean that you don’t run or don’t want to when you say “doesn’t run very well”? Any exercise will suffice although I favor running of course since it did so much for me. I am also busy. I work 6 days a week from 4:30 am to 5:00pm. That is a lot of time, but I just fit it in. No kids yet so that is a big difference between you and me. I hope to bring mine with me in one of those jogging strollers. If you have no time, the high intensity work outs that are short will do the best for you. I am an extreme person so I tend to forget everything else in the world when it comes time to run. I just make the time. It is not easy though and I get pissed off sometimes because of the feeling of the time pinch. Thanks visiting and contributing with your great comment.
Wow, these are great pics! Nice job!
Thank you so much for your ecouragemet. It means a lot to me. Keep coming back, the readers here are awesome and so are you for leaving this commet. Thanks again.
Change is possible! My formula for success was similar to yours: WW, running, and a tirelessly supportive spouse. Thanks for your kind comments on my blog; I’m off to add a link to run4change. Your format and content are great, and I’m going to dig around some more and get more information as I prepare for marathon #1! It’s my celebration, two years after joining WW.
Congratulations Zoo, Great job on making it for two years. Not a lot do, but a lot can. You made and you are kicking but. Keep up the good work and if you any questions regarding marathon running, prep., eating, etc. just get ahold of me through the contact me form on the contact me page.
I’m so glad I found your website! I just started reading it having read your post on the maintenance board. So nice to have yet another successful maintainer to look up to.
I was a couch potato and overweight most of my life, and my biggest surprise about losing weight is how much I love to run, which I had never done before. Right now, I just do 3-5 mile runs 2 or 3 times a week, but I think I will start training for a half marathon in Vancouver in May. Maybe some day I will see you in a marathon!
Thanks for putting in all the work on this site. I’m just eating it up now. 🙂
Thank you so much for stopping by and adding some heart to the blog. It is great when people come by and comment. Stick around, there is a lot of fun and growth to be had here. That is great that you will do the half. Keep up the good work and if you do a marathon ever, let me know. I am always looking to run one with someone
Thank you SO MUCH for the message you left for me this morning on WW. What an astonishing change has happened to you and for you! I know this journey of mine will be a long one, and it is individuals like you who keep me focused on my goal…because you have reached it before me and are there, cheering me on. Thank you again for being such a great role model for those of us with much to lose!
Victoria
No problem at all Victoria. Keep coming back, the readers and I have lost and are losing a lot of weight. You’re not the only one so keep you head up.
Just took a look at your blog….you look wonderful! My mom is encouraged too, she is trying to lose weight and it’s been hard.
It can be done to be sure. It is not so easy, but very well worth it. Thanks for you comment and encouragement. That is what it is all about. Building each other up for success with our health. Keep on!
Jason-
Dude, there’s no other way to say it, YOU ROCK! For your #231 pic-is that the Big Sur Marathon? Looks like the right background. I’m impressed and inspired-keep it up!!!
-Joshua
Joshua, I checked out your blog. I like it mucho. Thanks for stopping by run4change. I really appreciate it. That pic is on Mt. Hood. It was a beautiful, cool summer day and that marathon is a great one. Thanks again
WOW!! i just wanted to tell you that you look awesome .. good job!! Definitely an inspiration 🙂 Thanks for sharing this
So welcome Julia. I appreciate your encouragement a lot too. Keep up the great work.
Wow! so after the encouraging comment you left me on my thread on the ww site I had to check out your site……..Amazing! it has inspired me so much that I want to start running……….. have bad knee though so I will have to start out slow. My first encouragment was the fact that I am a volunteer firefighter on a fire dept that is all guys except me. and I want to prove to them that I can do it. My next is YOU!! Actually seeing makes me believe that it can happen!! thanks so much and keep up the good work!!
YOu most certainly can do it. You are a strong person who will accopmlish much. Keep up the good work and I am very happy that you were encouraged.
JASON ~ the transformation is amazing; your before & after pics look like two different guys. Whenever I see pics like these, I feel a bit more encouraged to keep on, keepin’ on. I really liked the meal ideas and the tip about counting the treats and you won’t feel like a cheat … thanks for sharing!
Hi Rosebud, thanks for stopping by and I give you a special thanks for your awesome encouragement. I appreciate it. Cheating is more of a mind set and if we can break free from it I think we can have a better and more enjoyable journey. Come back again and enjoy the posts and the readers. Thanks
Thanks for the inspiration. I am in the middle of my own transformation and I hope when all is said and done that I can look and feel as confident and healthy as you do in these pictures. You sure look like you are having fun!! I am just enjoying the journey for now.
Thank you so much for your encouragement and for giving me a visit. Have a great night
You look so good!!!! WOW! I am just now starting my weight loss journey, I hope to have as great of results as you did. You are honestly the first guy that I have looked at since I got married and thought “he is sexy”…. Congrats on the weight loss!
Thanks Stephanie. And you CAN do this. You will lose your weight and feel great in no time. Good luck and thanks for stopping by my blog.
WOW!! You’re before and after pictures are amazing. It is hard, sometimes, when you seen before and after shots, to believe that they are the same person. You can tell that they are all you!! You should be so proud of yourself. I am going to bookmark your page so I can continue to come back for some motivation when I need it. I just started (again) a few days ago and my kids (4 of them) are great motivators right now. But when the fighting between them starts and the stress kicks in I need outside motivation to stay out of the pantry! lol Thank you for sharing your pictures!
Jenn
It’s tough especially if you buy your little ones all those yummies that we probably shouldn’t eat 🙂 Thanks for stopping by and encouraging me. I really appreciate it and I hope that you will enjoy your stay.
You are a MAN !!! Your are an inspiration to me. Thanks for proving Nothing is impossible.
Thanks Sam. I appreciate it.
Wow! Awesome pics…I run marathons too and do WW. I have done 5 marathons and have thought about Portland a few times…how was it?
What a transformation! You look amazing, and you are so inspirational. 🙂
Thanks Mercedes for your comment. I was great to see that you stopped by
holy amazing – i’m running my fourth half in a few weeks and just hit major runners block – i typed in runners block and your blog came up – congrats – amazing work!!
Just the fact Jenny that you said holy amazing is about the coolest thing that has happened to me all day. I loved it and it made me smile pretty dang big.
I stumbled across your website and I have to say you look amazing! You have truly accomplished a lot! I am on my own weight loss journey now and am training for a 5K. You are truly an inspiration. Thank You!
thanks piper. I am glad that you found encouragement and inspiration from my blog because I found it from your comment.
you look really awesome! I too am struggling with my weight and have been trying to shed of pounds through diet and exercise. thanks for giving me inspiration, especially on days when I feel like I’ve hit my plateau again and will never reach my ideal weight.
Ummm, you are now a total babe btw… HOTTTT
My husband and I embarked on our weight loss journeys about 14 months ago, since then my husband has lost over 100 pounds while I’ve lost about 50 (I go back and forth between 40 and 50 pounds lost). It’s been frustrating to not have the weight melt off of me as it has for my husband, but I am so proud of his accomplishment and happy to see his new-found confidence. Congratulations to you on your amazing transformation!
Thanks Mimi. It is often the case the males lose faster than females. I really am not sure why this is but don’t get too discouraged. You can get the weight off just like he did. And remember it is not a competition. Although you started the journey together, you both have your own journies too.
Hey great job!!!!! I did not take up running to lose weight but rather get into shape. I have some leg issues and oh lord does it hurt to run!!!!Viewing other peoples progress and pictures helps me to stay motivated. Keep up the great work!
You look amazing. I find your story to be extremely inspiring, and I think you are a beautiful person – inside and out. You are incredibly strong!! I can very much relate to the “fat mind.” I have never been obese but a few pounds overweight at one time or another, and have a deep fear of experiencing that again. My fitness is a yo-yo, but stories like this help me stay committed. Thank you for sharing.
Hello, just wanted to say, I liked this blog post.
It was helpful. Keep on posting!
